The game gave me and Jacko the chance to get a better look at some of the lads who haven't played regularly and as the result was meaningless we gave everyone a chance. Dean Wardell got his debut and looked useful, and James Broadhead got only his third game for the club. Despite all this we still managed to be competitive and scored 6 tries. Our defence was always going to struggle but the lads kept at it to the end and every player given their chance did themselves proud. A great time was had in the Underbank clubhouse afterwards and we thank them for their hospitality. Hopefully our reputation as a club was enhanced despite the loss. Enjoy the close season and we'll hopefully see you all next year.
